Legislators Plan to Return for Budget Negotiations — Ask Them to Fully Fund Florida Forever

How the Regular Session Ended
The House not only proposed $0 for Florida Forever — they also swept $200 million from the Florida Forever coffers into the Rural and Family Lands Protection Program.
The Senate included some funding for Florida Forever in its budget proposal, but $50 million is a far cry from the Governor's $115 million recommendation and what the program needs.
